This coming fall, Kettering College will welcome up to 50 students, mostly from Ukraine. The General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists created an “Education Emergency Plan” in March 2022 as the Russian invasion began in Ukraine and asked Adventist colleges and universities in North America how they could help support students whose education was being disrupted.

Kettering College is excited to announce its new partnership with the Ohio Department of Education. Beginning Fall 2022, more students will have the financial ability to obtain a nursing degree from Kettering College.
The Ohio Department of Higher Education announced on April 4, 2022 that they are awarding Kettering College funds for the use of the Choose Ohio First scholarship program (COF). Choose Ohio First is part of Ohio's strategic effort to bolster the state in the global marketplace of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Medicine (STEMM). COF awards scholarship funding to selected Ohio colleges and universities to support undergraduate and qualifying graduate students in innovative academic programs.

Kettering College is offering a new, Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (A-BSN) track beginning in Fall 2022 that allows students to complete their degree in four semesters. The full-time, 15-month track is ideal for college graduates seeking a career change.
Healthcare professionals are needed now more than ever. A report from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that employment opportunities in healthcare is projected to grow 15 percent from 2019 to 2029, citing that this is much faster than the average for all other occupations. The need for well-educated graduates in the field of healthcare is clear, but we know that choosing a career path is one of the hardest decisions a student can make, and many times finances play a big role in that decision.
Kettering College has announced two new scholarships to make a healthcare education at Kettering College more accessible.

When my daughter was 3-years-old, she offered to help me “mow the lawn.” In other words, it was a hint to ride on my shoulders. As I mowed, I was in deep turmoil about the seemingly insurmountable challenges and obstacles that life had sent my way. I was so buried in my angst that it took me nearly an hour to actually hear and truly listen to the words my daughter had been singing over and over in her little angelic voice.
