Dayton Church Baptizes 52

Allegheny West Conference's Dayton (Ohio) church ended their “Dayton’s Revival” evangelistic series with 52 baptisms. During the 15 weeks, more than 75 sermons covered topics such as the state of the dead and the observance of the seventh-day Sabbath. As a result, many individuals were led to make the important decision to choose baptism.

“People were thrilled to know that God created the Sabbath out of a desire to spend the day with them,” says Stephen D. Lewis, pastor. “We shared how much God loves them and that Jesus had paid for their sins. Now we focus on their next steps.”

God Blessed in 2019!

God has done amazing things in the Allegheny West Conference in 2019. This year has looked a lot better than in years past. Between 2018–19, we were able to eliminate a total of $1.5 million of debt. We also ended last year with the highest tithe amount in our conference’s history. And as we near the end of 2019, we are projecting to exceed that mark.

Shiloh Cincinnati Expands on enditnow Campaign

Ten years ago, the General Conference launched their enditnow campaign, which emphasizes ending the cycle of abuse on women and children. Intimate partner violence has been a long-standing issue for more than 100 years within the Allegheny West Conference Shiloh Cincinnati church’s surrounding Avondale community. As a result, church members took part in this initiative to stop violence that may affect congregation and community members alike.
